Initially, Andrea set us up with a customized search of properties in the areas we were interested in and we got multiple updates daily with new property listings so we could access them online to mark as we saw fit. Both my wife and I work full time and the ability to virtually look at the properties was key to streamlining the process. Once we had a handful of prospective properties, we found our new home on the FIRST day (the 3rd house we looked at). Andrea had prepared us to consider making an offer within 24 hours of visiting the house, which is exactly what we did. In the current market, which is full of brokers offering absurd amounts in cash, Andrea advocated to the selling realtor for us, stressing that we were actually going to live in the home and had no intentions of renting the property to other tenants, which had the effect of convincing the sellers to accept our offer!

As for the post-acceptance process, Andrea suggested we consider performing a sewer line inspection. At first, we didn’t see the need, but she pointed out that she’d seen homes with trees in the front yard have root intrusion into the sewer lines, so we decided to have it done due to investment we were making in the current market and it’s a good thing we did! The inspection uncovered a partially collapsed pipe about 6 feet from the main sewer that may have very well fully collapsed after we’d purchased the home. Andrea worked with the seller’s realtor to arrange the repair with funds held in escrow to pay the excavation company performing the repair, so we didn’t have to pay a dime to fix anything! Her diligence to stay after the selling parties to get this taken care of allowed us to concentrate on getting all our things in order prior to closing and resulted in zero stress on our part.

She also included a concierge-style service that allowed us to keep track of all the checklist items involved with the purchase so we always knew where we stood and could take care of any outstanding to-do’s without endless texting, emails, or phone calls. The entire process, from

Andrea was really great during the whole process of buying our home. She goes out of her way to make your transaction a success.
